1. Portfolio Introduction
   • In designing and developing the Goodnight Sounds app, my primary goal was to provide users with a restful and soothing experience to help them relax, fall asleep, and find tranquility.
   • To achieve this, I adopted a minimalistic design approach, incorporating dark color tone to minimize distractions and ensure that the app's interface remains gentle on the eyes, especially in a dimly lit room. This thoughtful design choice complements the app's core mission of promoting peace and relaxation.
2. Scope of Work
   • My work encompassed the complete creation of both Android and iOS versions of the Goodnight Sounds app. Leveraging the power of React Native and Expo, I ensured the app's availability on the two major mobile platforms, providing a seamless user experience to a wide audience.
3. Key Responsibilities
   • Design: I carefully designed the user interface with a focus on minimizing visual distractions. The dark, tone-on-tone design provides a visually calm environment, aligning with the app's soothing purpose.
   • Development:
     • I undertook the development of the app, implementing its core features, such as the ability to repeat and mix custom calming sound effects.
     • I also integrated the nighttime story feature, combining hand-picked audio books with complementary soundscapes to enhance user immersion.
     • I set up and connected Firestore and Firebase storage with the client.
4. Key Points
   • Minimalistic Design: The use of dark color tones-on-tone design ensures that the app remains easy on the eyes, particularly when used in a dark room. This design choice reduces distractions and supports the app's mission of promoting relaxation and rest.
   • Cross-Platform Accessibility: By developing the app for both Android and iOS using React Native and Expo, I expanded its accessibility, making it available to a broader user base.
   • Custom Soundscapes: Users can create their own calming soundscapes, adjusting sounds to their preferences, and mix them for a personalized relaxation experience.
   • Nighttime Story Feature: The app includes a feature that pairs hand-picked audio books with matching sound effects to create an immersive and tranquil bedtime storytelling experience.
   • Play in Background Feature: The app continues playing the audio even when the app is in background mode.

1. 포트폴리오 소개:
   • Goodnight Sound 앱을 디자인하고 개발하는 주요 목표는 사용자가 편안함을 느끼며 휴식을 취하고 수면에 도움을 주는 것이었습니다.
   • 이를 위해 미니멀한 다크 톤의 디자인을 채택하여 앱의 화면이 어두운 조명 아래에서 사용자의 눈에 부담이 되지 않고, 주의를 분산시키지 않게 디자인했습니다.
2. 작업 범위 : 개발에 참여한 범위 및 지원환경
   • React Native와 Expo를 사용하여 Android와 IOS 앱을 개발하였습니다.
   • 앱의 모든 디자인을 담당하였습니다. (Figma 사용)
3. 주요 업무 : 해당 서비스의 주요 기능 및 주요 페이지
   • 디자인: 시각적으로 분산이 최소화되도록 주의 깊게 사용자 인터페이스를 디자인했습니다. 어두운 톤온톤 디자인은 시각적인 방해를 최소화하고 사용자가 휴식과 수면에만 집중할 수 있도록 합니다..
   • 개발:
     • 앱의 핵심 기능인 소리 이펙트를 반복 재생하고, 여러 소리를 조합한 프리셋을 만들어 재생하고 저장하는 기능을 구현하는 개발을 담당했습니다.
     • 또한 직접 작성한 오디오 북과 어울리는 소리 이펙트를 함께 재생하여 사용자가 스토리에 몰입하고 잠에 들 수 있도록 개발하였습니다.
     • 앱이 백그라운드 상태에서도 오디오가 끊기지 않고 재생될 수 있도록 Foreground Activity 기능을 구현하였습니다.
     • Firestore와 Firebase Storage를 셋업하고 앱과 연결하였습니다.
